Swami Ishatmananda

 

Swami Ishatmananda is Minister-in-charge of Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago. He is the Founder Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission, Andaman Islands, where he built a home for destitute and orphans. He has rendered services at time of natural calamities in various parts of India. Video recordings of his weekly talks can be found here.

Swami Atmashraddhananda

 

Swami Atmashraddhananda is editor of Vedanta Kesari, a monthly magazine published by Ramakrishna Math since 1914. For the last ten years, he has been the mentor at Vivekananda Study Circle at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras which is a group similar to VSC-UIUC. He is a prolific writer and has authored numerous books. Some of his talks can be found here

Q&A on Karma Yoga
Swami Tyagananda

 

Swami Tyagananda is the head of Ramakrishna Vedanta Swami TyaganandaSociety in Boston. He is also the Hindu chaplain at MIT and Harvard. He has presented papers at academic conferences and he gives lectures and classes at the Vedanta Society, MIT, Harvard, and other colleges in and around Boston. He was the editor of the monthly journal, Vedanta Kesari for eleven years. He has translated and edited a dozen books. His talks can be found online in iTunes or here or can be ordered on a CD here.

 

We have finished reading his recent book, "Walking the Walk: A Karma Yoga Manual". This is a Question Answer session about his book, as well as about Karma Yoga.

Swami Baneshananda is the head of Vedanta-Gesellschaft in Germany. He was instrumental in starting the Berlin and Frankfurt centers of Vedanta-Gesellschaft. He was previously the editor of Vedanta Kesari, a monthly magazine published by Ramakrishna Math since 1914. Earlier he had been a mentor at Vivekananda Study Circle at Indian Institute of Technology Madras which is a group similar to VSC-UIUC.
